Hunting License / Permit Information

- Nonresident specific game management unit deer permits are $209.00
- Nonresident firearm statewide buck permits are $521.00
- Nonresident antlerless permits are $55.00
The specific unit and statewide buck tags can be used for either a Whitetail or Mule Deer buck. The Nebraska State Habitat Stamp is $16.00
Note: These permits are non-refundable and non-transferable. All permits/tags can be purchased online and printed out at www.outdoornebraska.org
- Hunter Education: Any person 12 years of age or older, born on or after January 1st, 1977 must have successfully completed a state-certified Hunter Education course prior to hunting and have their Hunter Education card in their possession at all times. This law applies to Rifle, Muzzleloader & Crossbow hunters.
- Bow hunter Education is required when hunting mule deer, whitetail deer, antelope or turkey with a bow for any person 12 years of age or older, born on or after January 1st, 1977. They must have successfully completed a state-certified Bow Hunter Education course prior to hunting and have their Bow Hunter Education card in their possession while hunting at all times.
